What is the best company for annuity?
I sold a lot of annuities in the past 14 years. And there are many types different. If you are looking for guarantees fixed, then go with the company paying the highest rate. Likewise if you are buying an immediate annuity paid for life. But if you're looking for a Variable Annuity, which lets you choose between certain separate accounts (such as mutual funds), then you should look for one with some security features at low cost. (Principal Guaranteed, guaranteed income, etc.) Also, all companies now have products which have NO FEE WAIVER. Do not let your advisor will tell you what you have to lock up for 3 or 4 years to 5 or 7 years. They just want you to do that to earn higher commissions.
