Annuity Lead
Why/how has the media actually convinced people that national health care will lead to eugenics and rationing?

France, Italy, Canada, Germany, Japan, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Nepal, South Korea, China, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos, and England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales all offer their citizens universal health care. The United States is the only industrialized country that does not view the right to live disease-free as a natural, unalienable right.

What do Bill Reilly, Sean Annuity, Glenn Beck, Major Garrett, Rachel Maddie, and Larry King all have against universal health care? To turn the phrase around: What do they love so much about private care?

I keep hoping the most gullible of our citizens will begin to pay attention to the ads in the media, which would perhaps help them realize they are being fed a huge pile of elephant dung when it comes to health care reforms—paid for by big oil, insurers, pharmaceuticals, HMOs, and other special interests all trying to block any regulations or reforms. Right after President Obama saved taxpayers a FORTUNE by canceling the unneeded (Cold-War) F-22 planes ordered by Cheney (128 of them at $134.6 MILLION per place), Lockheed-Martin and Boeing suddenly had ads running on CNN, MSNBC, and perhaps Faux News (I never watch the latter, not considering it to be “news”). Boeing and Lockheed-Martin make the F-22 plane and overcharge for it at that.

Some of the objection to health care reform is simply that right-wing cult-evangelicals do NOT want Democrats or President Obama to succeed at ANYTHING—they keep hoping the gullible and undereducated (i.e., Michael Farris home-schooled biblical literalists from all 50 states) will forget the chaos and devastation wreaked upon this nation by Republicans from 2001 through January 2007, and that their well-oiled propaganda machine will convince them Democrats are “evil”. I keep hoping the Democrats will just break up the health care bill into convenient budget-tied pieces that can be pushed through by Reconciliation (51 votes in the Senate) and “get ‘er done!”
