Annuities Pros and Cons

What type of IRA to get?

I'm in the army and decided to invest in a Roth IRA savings plan vs second-hand. I was to use the Roth IRA USAA but this shows the types of investment for an IRA. Enumerated types are mutual funds, brokerage, annuities, CD's, and managed accounts ($ 50,000 or more). What are the pros and cons of these types of Roth IRAs.

There is only one type of Roth IRA. What you are asking about are the different ways to invest in an IRA. How you choose to invest depends on your age, risk tolerance and financial goals for example. You can invest in both the TSP and a Roth IRA, if desired. I recommend you speak with an investment adviser because TSP gives you some options you will not find much elsewhere.
